Scott Fish of Carmel was pronounced dead at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi after his car slammed into a tree on Interstate 59 at around 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 30.
He is survived by his father, Scott M. Fish Sr., his mother, Joan L. Fish, sister Rebecca DeLuca, and brother-in-law Alfonso DeLuca.
Fish, who studied engineering at SUNY New Paltz and Westchester Community College, embraced his love of technology by spending his time creating pieces from his 3D printer, computer programming, and building gaming software, according to his obituary. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Patterson.
He enjoyed playing Magic, card games, bowling, chess, and scrabble and was well versed in politics and enjoyed a good debate.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a service at noon at Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church Street in Carmel.
Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery on Route 202 in Somers.
